Eightcap is an FCA-regulated broker built around TradingView for UK clients, with low raw-spread pricing and a Standard account with no commission.
Our verdict on Eightcap
Eightcap Group Ltd is authorised and regulated by the FCA (FRN 921296). The wider Eightcap group was founded in Melbourne in 2009 and is also regulated by ASIC in Australia and CySEC in Cyprus, with offshore entities in The Bahamas, Seychelles and Mauritius. UK clients are served by the FCA-regulated entity, with segregated client money, negative balance protection and FSCS cover.
For UK traders, Eightcap is a specialist TradingView broker: you connect your Eightcap account to TradingView and trade directly from its charts. That suits people who already do their analysis on TradingView, but UK clients don't get MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 or TradeLocker, which Eightcap offers through its non-UK entities, and there's no spread betting.
Costs are a strength. The Raw account offers spreads from 0.0 pips plus £2.25 per lot per side on GBP accounts (£4.50 round turn), which is towards the cheaper end for raw-spread pricing. The Standard account has no commission, with spreads from 1.0 pips. Research and education are thinner than at the largest brokers.
