Risk warning: CFDs and leveraged forex are complex instruments and carry a high risk of losing money rapidly. Most retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. Consider whether you can afford to take that risk.

Our verdict on FOREX.com

FOREX.com is part of StoneX Group, a NASDAQ-listed financial services company with a history going back more than 100 years. In the UK, FOREX.com is now a trading name of StoneX Financial Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the FCA (FRN 446717). In September 2026 StoneX moved its UK retail business onto this single company, and the former UK entity, Gain Capital UK, applied to cancel its licence.

As the name suggests, FOREX.com is a currency specialist, with 80+ forex pairs and spreads on EUR/USD and GBP/USD from 0.7 points on the standard account. The minimum first deposit is £100, and card and bank deposits and standard withdrawals are free.

Platform choice is good: FOREX.com's own web platform and app, MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and TradingView. The main costs to watch are a £12 monthly inactivity fee after 12 months without trading, and a charge on same-day CHAPS withdrawals.
