IronFX does not accept UK residents, so we don't link to it.
IronFX offers a broad menu of account types and MetaTrader platforms under several regulators, but its standard pricing is not the cheapest and its reputation is mixed.
Our verdict on IronFX
Important for UK readers: IronFX says its website is not directed at UK residents, and that its services fall outside the rules, guidance and protections of the UK Financial Conduct Authority Handbook. Its international services are provided by Notesco (BVI) Limited, regulated by the Financial Services Commission of the British Virgin Islands.
IronFX offers six account types (three standard live accounts and three STP/ECN accounts) with fixed, floating and zero-spread options. It says spreads start from zero pips on selected pairs, and its own guidance suggests a starting balance of US$50–100, with around US$500 recommended to trade comfortably.
IronFX has also had a mixed reputation over past client complaints. Combined with the lack of FCA protection for UK residents, we don't recommend it for UK traders. FCA-authorised brokers such as IG, Pepperstone or CMC Markets are the relevant alternatives.
